A squirrel that got caught in an overhead line triggered a fire brigade in Hanover on Thursday. The collision initially led to a loud bang, as the fire brigade announced on Thursday. The animal then fell on dry grass and ignited it. Because of the small fire, freight trains were temporarily held back on the railway line in the southern district of Kirchrode, as the railway announced.
