Oscar winner Paul haggis remains under house arrest in Italy. The director (“LA Crash”) is accused by a woman of sexually assaulting her in the Apulia region in the south of the Mediterranean country for three days in the past week.

An investigating magistrate in the city of Brindisi decided on Wednesday evening, after an initial questioning of the 69-year-old Canadian, to house arrest to stay in a hotel.
