A new stormy episode is expected from midday on the center-east this Thursday, June 23.

A new stormy wave will break out this Thursday afternoon between the Midi-Pyrénées and the center-east, once again mainly affecting Auvergne, Burgundy and Franche-Comté. These storms, which are more isolated, will still be locally violent.

“These storms will be accompanied by violent phenomena”warns Météo France, which forecasts locally heavy hailstorms, intense accumulations of precipitation, occasionally reaching 30 to 50 mm in less than an hour and strong gusts, which can reach values ​​​​of 70 to 90 km / h.

The 25 departments concerned by orange vigilance are : Cantal, Puy-de-Dôme, Haute-Loire, Loire, Rhône, Allier, Saône-et-Loire, Nièvre, Ain, Jura, Côte-d’or, Yonne, Aube, Haute-Marne, Haute-Saône, Doubs, Territoire de Belfort, Vosges, Marne, Ardennes, Meuse, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Moselle, Bas -Rhine and Haut-Rhin.
