The Prime Minister says she is “in action” this Thursday evening.

“The French want us to dialogue more”acknowledged Elisabeth Borne on Thursday, “obviously, the project that we are going to implement, it will take into account what we are going to defend in the National Assembly, inevitably we will have to listen to the proposals of each other” assured the Prime Minister on LCI.

First group in the Assembly

About Emmanuel Macron, “I don’t know if we can say that he lost”. “We remain the first group in the Assembly” she pointed out. “Faced with this situation, we must continue to think about how to move our country forward, which means passing laws” she hoped.

Coalition?

Elisabeth Borne assured that she left political leaders the possibility of forming a “coalition”, “this is the question we are asking”she said, welcoming that among the opposition, “none [responsable] does not want to block the institutions”. “Beyond that, many deputies want our country to continue to move forward”she explained.

But “we are here to solve the problems that could not be solved before in a ministry” she launched.

Pensions and purchasing power

She also assured that the pension reform, was a part of “discussions”. “The president’s concern is to finance a social model, everyone must take their responsibilities”, she said, telling herself despite everything “confident”.

For instance “no group is going to say that we could increase the French energy bill by 45%” estimated the former Minister of Labor. She also said she believed in an agreement on the purchasing power of retirees, for which she “think that we will find a broad agreement to take inflation into account”.

“Bringing answers to the French”

“My goal is to provide answers to the French, I am convinced that no one has the answer by thinking alone”, she concluded.
