The Armed Forces of Ukraine began using the US Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) Himars in the field, received on Thursday.

Able to hit a target 80km away and highly mobile, Himars multiple rocket launchers are already in use in Ukraine.

While their delivery had been confirmed Thursday by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, their engagement in the field would have been for the first time documented this Friday, June 24.
