The first US Himars multiple rocket launcher systems have been delivered to Kyiv.

Ukraine said on Thursday it had taken delivery of Himars precision artillery systems from the United States.

“The summer will be hot for the Russian occupiers. And the last for some of them” tweeted Oleksii Reznikov, Ukrainian Defense Minister, on Thursday. The Himars missile launcher “arrived in Ukraine” he announced, thanking in passing the American Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin III, “for these powerful weapons”.

80 kilometers range

These precision-guided Himars multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) with a range of 80 kilometers are highly feared by Russia.

They even make certain Russian analysts fear Ukrainian strikes as far away as Moscow.
